ANITA PLUME

Studied at The St.Ives School of Painting & Falmouth College of Art VS Honours Degree in Fine Art.

I live in the moorland village of St.Breward.

My inspiration comes from the surrounding countryside,particularly the woods,rivers & streams.

I like to paint misty,winter woods, clearings, secret places,sunlight through the trees, reflections on the water & cathedral like gunnera plants evoking a feeling of mystery,atmosphere & mood.
I paint freely,often using mixed media to add texture. I try to create mystical, ethereal image that lends itself to the imagination leading the viewer into a magical landscape, perhaps remembering a place once visited.
