AMANDA WALSH

Amanda was born and raised in Oxfordshire. She graduated from the University of York with a degree in Law and then began a career in finance working in a client management and funding role.

In 2019, Amanda decided on a career change and moved to St Ives to run her family guesthouse and to work in the St Ives School of Painting in marketing, HR & finance department. She joined the St Ives Society of Artists as Gallery Manager in September 2022.

Amanda’s interest in the arts began at a young age and led her to take Art GCSE, A-Level and choose to base her First-Class law dissertation on the ‘Repatriation of Holocaust Looted Artwork Across Post-War Europe’. She feels very grateful to be able to blend her love of the arts with her administrative skills every day in a job role she feels passionately about.
