DESCRIPTION:The St Ives Society of Artists welcomes all creatives to enter work into our Spring Open Exhibition! \nHand-in: Saturday 22nd April 2023 (between 10am – 5pm) \nPrice: £10 per artwork (maximum of three artworks per person)* \nWhere: Mariners’ Gallery\, Norway Square\, St Ives\, TR26 1NA \nTwice each year\, our members-only Society throws open our doors to all artists and invites them to submit up to three artworks\, ceramics\, sculptures\, etc for consideration to be part of the Spring Open Exhibition. Our curators choose between the hundreds of pieces entered and hang the gallery walls – giving everyone the opportunity to show their work in the Mariners’ Gallery and to be part of a vibrant and inclusive exhibition in St Ives. \nA form will be made available on this page for applicants to download. Please bring this with you when you enter your work. Payment for each entry can be made on hand-in day\, we accept cash or card. Work must be presented ready for hanging with a taut string or wire attached and labelled or with the artist’s name and painting title on the back. See application form for more details. \n*Should an artwork sell while in the gallery\, each piece is charged at 25% commission for artwork under £25 and 40% commission for artwork over £25. The Gallery Manager will be in touch regarding payment once the exhibition is over. \n
