SUMMARY:EDGE OF COLOUR in the Crypt Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Edge of Colour is a joint exhibition featuring the work of Julie D Cooper and Susan Gray.\n\nSusan is a land and seascape artist taking her inspiration from West Penwith. Her paintings are worked up from small sketches and painting studies made around the area of Cape Cornwall. She can often be seen painting plein air at high tide during all weather conditions capturing the energy and beauty of the landscape.\nSusan is a member of the National Acrylic Painters Association.\n\nJulie currently lives and works in Cornwall. Her abstract paintings have emerged from observations of natural forms and places she frequently visits surrounding her studio. With the counterpoints of land and ever changing sea and light\, works have evolved from various starting points the incidental\, the in between and high viewpoints. Julie adjusts the painting continually assembling the rhythmic forms in a personal response to the landscape.\nJulie is a member of St Ives Society of Artists and The Royal Watercolour Society.
