WENDY JELBERT

Wendy Jelbert is a prolific artist and author originally from Cornwall.

During Wendy’s career as a professional artist she has exhibited for the Women’s Society of Artists, The International Floral Society of Artists, and the The Society of Acrylic Painters. These exhibitions have been country-wide including The Mall and Westminster Galleries London, The First View Gallery Stourhead, John Bourne Gallery, Reigate, and St. Ives Society of Artists. She is delighted to have won many prizes throughout her career including awards at the S.W.A. Westminster London, the Wessex Gallery, the Bursledon Art Show and the Lee Gallery Romsey.

Wendy has written over 40 books on watercolour, mixed media, pen, line & wash, drawing & sketching and acrylics and she is excited they have been translated into many languages including Russian, Italian, French, Swedish, Danish, Arabic and Chinese. Her art DVDs, covering a wide range of subjects, have been on Television and Youtube and she has designed two popular Watercolour brushes.

Wendy was also an accredited art demonstrator of Caran D”Ache, Swan Stabilo, Liquitex, Winsor & Newton and Rowneys demonstrating at many prestigious art shows including Art in Action, Art and Illustrator Exhibition and Artist Materials Exhibition.

She has also taught for over 40 years in the most well known Residential Colleges in The UK including West Dean College (Chichester), Urchfont (Devizes), Dedham Hall (Essex), Women’s Institute Denman College (Near Oxford) and Dartington Hall (Devon).
