founded in 1927
Elizabeth was born in Horsham, West Sussex however she has spent all of her adult life in her beloved West Country. At one time she owned a hotel in Porlock, Somerset, for twenty years, where her three children grew up.
She now lives with her husband, in a cottage only twenty feet from the sea in beautiful Coverack where she spends her time cooking for a few guests, and painting.
She has painted all her life. At the age of five at school she received an Art Certificate with Merit – the award became a yearly occurrence.
In 1979 a painting was accepted and sold by Westward T.V.’s Open Art Exhibition.
She has held Solo Exhibitions at the Little Puppet Theatre, St. Agnes; Trelowarren House, near Helston; and at Lower Slaughter, Gloucestershire. She belongs to several Cornish Art Societies, and exhibits with the Sussex Society of Artists every August.
Although Elizabeth paints whilst on holidays abroad – and often sells them on the spot – it is the English Countryside and sea that are her first love, particularly the West Country, North Wales, and the Lake District.
Her work is in many private collections in this country and abroad.
