The subject matter of my work varies from purely intuitive and abstract to images drawn from landscape, still lives and the figure. Spontaneity and energy predominate in order to create dynamic compositions with the tension and balance of colour, shape, line, tone and texture.
After twenty five years of teaching art I moved to Cornwall in 2002. I have been a member of The St Ives Society of Artists since 2005. As well as exhibiting in various exhibitions nationally I am also an associate member of The Penwith Society of Arts and I regularly exhibit my work in various local galleries, including The Market House Gallery in Marazion, The Roundhouse Gallery in Sennen and Essex Tyler in Mousehole.
