I live on a small holding just outside Falmouth in Cornwall with my husband, my sheep, horses, chickens, ducks, dogs and cat. I like to paint and draw the Cornish landscape and life around me focusing on domestic farm animals. Painting en plein air is important to me and although it is tricky with animals I try whenever I can to paint outside. It is a wonderful experience and as a rule the result is a painting with more depth than one copied from a photo!
I was born in Africa in 1958 and am self-taught in painting. At the moment I am studying the Newlyn School of artists who I find very inspiring. I work fulltime at my painting selling work privately and from local galleries.
